This hotel is a bad joke. Spiders and ants in the room, old towels and matresses, extremely low quality for food and drinks. If they have a housekeeping manager and an F&B, they are paying them for nothing! It should get a maximum of 2 stars, absolute greediness everywhere: from bad taste food, to small paper cups so that you would not drink too much on the beach, private beach where everybody gets access, no cleaning in the room, tap water, wine that could not be drank. I have never experienced such a low level for a 4 star hotel. Shame on you, Astera Hotel & Spa Management!

I looked up this place before we booked our vacation to BG. I was very excited as we were meeting with friends and their children. Booking.com gives them an excellent rating, so I had high expectations. Food was nothing special, small buffet bar that served the same food almost every day. Bar was a joke, they were serving level 1 cocktails and watered down vodka. No entertainment for the children was available. Place was clearly understaffed as there was no one at their Spa Center. No high speed WiFi!! Lastly, their so called "animators" at the pool were extremely rude. One of the 15yo girls was so condescending to me when I told her that I did not want to participate in her "water aerobics". Glad that they were only there for not more than an hour. Mediocre place, I would not return or recommend to any of my friends or family. Take your business elsewhere!!
